Ortodontie
On the way to a perfect smile with the orthodontists of the "Avers-Art" clinic.
A pleasant, sincere smile and beautiful teeth always attract people. But in most cases, nature does not grant us a beautiful smile. Uneven teeth and an ugly smile in adulthood can be the result of such common childhood whims as sucking a finger or lip, or holding your mouth open for a long time.
If you did not go to an orthodontist until 6 years old but have visible pathological occlusion - contact us!
Our doctors have an innovative approach to dental treatment, which is based on a thorough diagnosis. Our orthodontists understand where and how teeth must be moved. Before starting the treatment, panoramic X-Ray, teleroentgenography, photos of the patient's face, intraoral photos, and diagnostic models are made.
To correct the occlusion and align the teeth we use effective methods in the field of orthodontics:
braces
Invisalign system (transparent mouthguards)
removable plates and retainers
Braces
Braces are a non-removable orthodontic structure that consists of a series of locks that are attached to the outer or inner surface of the teeth with a special glue.
The rotation of the tooth when wearing brackets is a process that lasts from several months to two years, as a rule; grinder teeth take the longest time to get into the desired position.
There are metal, ceramic, and lingual braces.
Invisalign System
Transparent Invisalign mouthguards are completely invisible and really easy to use. This is the so-called invisible bite correction system, which consists of transparent plastic Invisalign mouthguards - cases for each tooth - that are put on the teeth and are not fixed with any additional material.
Displacement of teeth occurs due to the gradual replacement of mouthguards, each of which moves the teeth. Thus, due to the replacement of mouthguards, there is a gradual pressure on the teeth and their progressive movement.
Invisalign bite correction system is essentially the result of combining several technologies of orthodontics, radiology, and computer modeling.
On the basis of teleroentgenography and analysis of models of the doctor designs the desired position of the patient's teeth.teleroentgenography Having the initial position of the teeth and the desired end result, we develop a system of progressive movement of the teeth.
Each stage corresponds to the so-called set-up model for which the Invisalign plastic mouthguard is made. By changing the mouthguard with different points and pressure force, the position of the teeth is changed.
The function of mouthguards does not differ from that of braces: corrective pressure on the teeth is created not by braces, but by the walls of the mouthguard. Invisalign mouthguards are worn on both dental curves and are changed once every 2-3 weeks.
Invisalign system (benefits)
The main advantage of the Invisalign system is that you can avoid wearing braces. In addition, Invisalign mouthguards can be removed at any time (for hygiene, before negotiations and important meetings) and are also easy to put on your teeth. In contrast to braces, getting used to mouthguards takes no more than 2 hours, since the tight fit to the teeth does not create discomfort in the mouth even during eating.
An important feature of working with the Invisalign system in our clinic is close interaction and control of treatment by the doctor. At each stage of changing the mouthguards, the doctor and the patient compare the position of teeth, producing control models.
If you lose your mouthguard or wear it incorrectly, it can affect the entire course of treatment, so we try not to make Invisaling mouthguards for the entire period of treatment in advance.
Removable device (dental plate)
A dental plate is a removable orthodontic device, usually a plastic plate that is custom-made and fixed to the teeth using metal hooks (clasps) and arcs.
As a rule, dental plate is removed while eating and brushing teeth. This treatment method is used to treat children under 12 years of age.
Dental plate is the property of your child, so they have to put on and remove it, parents only control the process of correct wearing. Also, the child can take care of the dental plate in the morning and in the evening when brushing their teeth.
With poor hygiene of the dental plate, it will form a plaque that will cause an unpleasant smell, as well as inflammatory processes in the oral cavity.
You should understand that the successful outcome of treatment depends not only on the doctor, but also on the entire team (doctor, patient and parents). The process of alignment of teeth or occlusion depends on the age of the child, the severity of the pathology, and especially on how the child wears the device. Therefore, control and support your children during orthodontic treatment.
